Soundtrack research

I am using the film the conjuring for how the audio/soundtrack is used for the audients to identify with the characters

For starts the music they used for when the family moved in, it was 60's/70's music just nice calm music that you would listen to when moving into your new home.

When it got to the scene where the mother is pushed down the stairs and when she climbs back up them the music is more sinful more scarer expressly when it's in the dark and the mother is screaming

Audio for when they at the end you hear the sound of the music box playing which again gives it a more creepy vibe to it at the. Even though the family survies and are no longer endanger it still leaves you with that feeling you got from half way into the film.

Another is the whispers when you hear the women saying "Look what she made me do" making a whisper instead of a normal volume talking it gives it that haunting feeling. Another is the when the tape player comes back on and all you hear are screaming, crying and the "Look what she made me do" It makes you feel like you're in the room and also feel the fear when hearing it.

I think The Conjuring is a good movie to use for the audio and soundtrack because it has all different styles and different audio that gives audience the fear feeling of being in the house. I think general that Horrors are better to identify with the characters.
