Recce's

For todays lesson we had to walk to the crescent and the circus. At the crease we were told to take picture of an area that we used in a period drama/scifi film.

After walking around the crescent we walked over the the circus where we discover that it was dark at the circus then the crescent because the area is small the area in the middle is crowed by the trees and the buildings are tall which also hides the sun.

I think the reason why the Crescent has more light then the circus is because the crescent has more open area and it's not so crowded like the circus, It also has more area to film that takes the modern styles away, if you feel it right

Reasons for recce's is because when filming on location you need to look at an area before hand. One is permission which is important because if you record on private properties you could get kicked off half way through filming or get told that you're not aloud to used the footage that you recorded.

Once you get permission you can then move on to the next step which is health & safety, space and planning the day you want to record as well as checking the weather on that day. Dependi

Game assessment

The game I'll be assessing is the Purge.

Game board: The game board is based on a street in the night based on the dark colour. It also has blood stains, dead bodies and bus crash. The whole of the board game looks amazing it really look similar to the film. I think  that everything goes well together like the colours and the images along with the darkness. Looks really amazing I would also like to play this game.

Rules: The rules and very clear it's big so it's easier to read. The images I like it's different to other rule where the pages are all blank whereas this one got the images relating to the film the Purge. The background colour is different to the board game, it's not as dark and the colour is different but it still look good, I might have choose a colour closer to the game but other then that it look great.

Added figures: The figure could be improve, The dice looks great I really like the blood along the edges. The players figured I think if had more time could look better thought I like that they showed what the figures would look like but I would have like if they could have made something similar to the figures and not just cut out the squares with the numbers on them.

The whole art design is amazing, the board and the drawing is incredible and the cards are very well made and designed.

Bouncing ball animation

This is the bouncing ball animation I did on Animate of a ball bouncing until it lands onto a arrow. Placing the ball on the screen I pressed the arrow on the keyboard 5 times before I key framed it and repeated the same thing until it hit the bottom of the page thats when I pressed both up and right arrow together so that it would bouncing to the side near the end I added the arrow to give the ball to land on something. I think that this bouncing ball is better then the first one I did last year in my opinion.

90 second radio for Audio (This I'll be doing instead)

90 second news report based on The Ed and Lorraine Warren museum.
'The Warrens Occult Museum'
For the Radio news I want to talk about the fact thats it's moving locations. Then I want to talk about Ed and Lorraine Warren, then talk about where the museum is and mention few of it objects like the
annabelle doll and some of their biggest cases. The last thing I want to mention is the website that people can look up to find more information about the Warren's and their museum.
Lorraine and Ed Warren                                            Annabelle

Tony and Judy Spera (Ed & Lorraine daughter and their son in law)

When figuring out a jingle for the radio I wanted something that related to what I was talking about so it had to be something dark and spooky. I also wanted to listen to some radio station jingle hearing what they used. Like The Adam and Dr. Drew show, their jingle is orchestra music but with Heart they have more different kinds of music like sing or just instruments, but its alway very hyper music something to enjoy listening to and if you're a regular listen you'll know what the station is before hearing the name being shouted out.

For the musical Ident I want to find some type of dark creepy music- Quinn’s song the dance Begins. Because of how long it is I tried to edit it to make it small but also have that jingle to it. As it ends I added a different part of the song to the end.

I got the music from the website http://incompetech.com

This is what I said
Hi, I'm Megan Early and on today’s paranormal news the Warren’s Occult Museum has been closed due to zoning regulation and are looking for a new location.

The Warren Occult museum is located in New England, Connecticut; Founded in 1950 by Ed and lorraine Warren. The Warrens were well known paranormal invesigators in the late 1950's. Ed was a demonologist and Lorraine is a clairvoyant.

Over the years the couple investigated over 10,000 hauntings and collected haunted items which are now locked away in the Warrens basement.

The Warrens are known for their biggest cases like the Perron family which was re-made into the the film The conjuring In which Lorraine Warren was a consultant to the production and made a short appears in the film.

Another famous case is the Annabelle doll which nows sits the the warrens museum. In 2006 Ed Warren sadly passed away, leaving behind his wife Lorraine and their daughter, Judy . Lorraine now 87 runs the museum along with her son in law Tony Spera.

For more information about the warrens and the museum visit their website at www.warrens.net. Thank you for listen, this is Megan Early and the paranormal news.

Everything I'm talking about is all true, nothing fiction. Ed and Lorraine are real people. Everything they've collected is haunted but other's who don't believe in the paranormal might not believe that and so might believe that Ed and Lorraine are fakes. (Which I don't believe they are)

Monopoly how it's changed

Monopoly first came out in America in 1933.

The Monopoly board that I used to play as a child, had quite light colours with red and green houses and paper money. But getting on in years the game board has change whether it's the colours and styles it got better. Also another change is that they used tv for Monopoly like The walking dead, games of throne, Star wars because thousands of people watch the show and mostly likely many are fan that wants anything that has their tv show on it. So with Monopoly changing the scene to the tv show, they know their going to get more people buying it as well as make money form.

The board has change lot since the first one and I think because of the change to the more modern day version so with the credit card more people would want to play it cause it makes the game more fun. As well as adding editions like the around the world or the logo, because it's different from the old monopoly it looks more funs and makes people want to buy because its looks different from the old one which make they think it'll be more fun because of the change of image and also it might have a small change in the game.

CBS eye brand

I think that the CBS Eye has been an succses because it have the most tv show along with one of their tv show is the most watched in america so I think the eye logo goes really well with the TV Network because of the amount of Tv shows and the amount of viewers they get. It mostly the reason the eye logo being CBS brand because of the amount of views.

They also have CBS News, action, sports, reality with usally just the eye symbol because it's realaly well known.

Brief for Audio (No longer doing since I changed it to the 90 second radio)

For my brief I will be doing a brief on a factual film.

The factual film is based on a documentary called Paranormal Witnesses, which is a documentary on real life people talking about their experiences living/experiences with the paranormal. It's all based in America since thats where the show was created. I want to talk about what the show is about, when it first aired and station it is on. I also want to talk about 1 episode called the real conjuring which is told by the Perron family. The Perron family experience was turned into a film called The Conjuring 2013.

I also going to talk about another show that is similar to Paranormal witness and then end it with giving my opinions on the show and what episodes I think is the most scares I think.

I also want to try and add the music used in paranormal witnesses.

This is a trailer for season 5 of Paranormal Witnesses.

Major Crimes and Annabelle Scenes and acts

Tv Show
Major Crimes-Special Master Part 1 & 2 Aired the same day

This episode is about the team looking for a serial killer who kills then burns his victim. The part that made me go "WOW" was when the house went on fire and the team still in there. I thought the fire was edited but the actor Philip Keene tweeted back saying it was really and it real surprise me on what Writers, directors and produces will do to make a great and scary scene.

Another was how they discover how the killer was choosing his target by the stars, which was really interesting because it's something that I don't think I would have thought of so it was a different change to what usually we hear how serial killers choose their targets.

I think the scary part was when Buzz was still in the house whilst everyone else ran out, only because something could have gone wrong so with shooting scenes like this one you need think thing thought and make sure you have safely like a fire truck near by, which I'm sure they did.

Major Crimes, its a different tv show because it shows the different parts of LA like the gangs and the different people who live in LA. They also something gets real LA Police to help shoot a scene which I don't think a lot of tv show has that. Even thought the stories are fiction it still show another side of LA.

Even thought it's a crime dram it does have a bit of comedy to it which make it even better to watch when they put some comedy into it; Family feel to it then team or friends.

There are some episodes that can feel very emotional like the transgender girl, Or a baseball star 4 year old daughter dies from an overdose.

Annabelle

Act 1 Scene 1

Starts with a women talking about Annabelle about there experiences

Starts with a church service. The couple arrive home with their neighbours. Later on it's night time she's sewing he's doing paper work. Next she's in the baby room where her husband presents her with the annabelle doll. Whilst their asleep the neighbours wake to the sound of someone in their home, which leads to them both being killed by the intruders.

happy sushi short film

The happy sushi film is based on a man who sat at a wobbly table, so he places a matchstick packet under the table leg to help it stop wobbly but every time sits back up his table goes back to wobbling, so when he looks down he see's the matchstick packets moved. At the end because the packets disappears so the mans bend down looking for it only to hear a band noise; When he sits back up he see's a knife in the wall next to him, with everyone starting at him. Looking back on the table is the packet and on the back it say "You're welcome"

The film is a comedy, I didn't really find it funny except when the match's giving the man the middle finger was funny but other then that it wasn't really funny.

I think that this film is showing that the small annoying things can help you out.

Rationale for your board game

My game I made is a re-make from snakes and ladders, bit instead of an dice I'm using cocktails/shot question for which if you get the answer right you move how many the number says on the card. Even thought it is a re-make from snakes and ladders it's got some differences, like the fact the snakes and ladders has all been replaced with a cocktail shaker and straws and instead of an dice it's question cards.

The twist with this game and the old snake and ladder is that this is more fun, instead of rolling a dice you get to test your knowledge on drinks and shots making it more fun plus if you wanted you could add your own twist by if you get the question wrong you could take a shot. It's initially up to you.

This game is for any ages 18 or over (depending on other countries legal drinking age and over) though you can play it if you wanted but the taking a shot would not be aloud if you are younger then the drinking age, Then again anyone younger then 18 shouldn't know much about cocktails and shots.

Because games can be played mostly anywhere like the pub there you could play the game plus get a drink in which you could take a sip each time you get a question wrong or buy a shot. This game could also be played in with you friends or family, in their house which might be better cause then you won't have to pay a lot to buy drinks/shot's. This could be a fun game for a girls night in if they're staying over then it's a good game to play.

This game is alot more fun then the old snakes and ladder game because this game is more for adults, so if you're a group of friends who likes hanging out together and going traveling, instead of the same old boring board game they could be playing Cocktail-shaker or straws, It'll be much more entertaining and more for adults the children's board game.

With my game i decided to add question instead of an dice is because I find it more fun answer question instead of just rolling a dice which can be boring.

Animation Timellne

These are the time lines for the different animations I made like the moving cat, The pentagram and the bouncing ball.

The moving cat From last week timeline. I used keyframe as well as framed it to where it ends and start it again up until it gets to the end that where I add the frame so that it shows where it ends.

The pentagram from this lesson, ( Layer 4 is the blood drops) For both the pentagram and blood drops I used keyframes throughout the whole timeline up until I add the frame so that hit ends there. The blood drops ended ealier then the pentagram

The bouncing ball from todays lesson. With this timeline I only used the keyframe for the bouncing ball.

Animation Overview

In todays lesson We made an animation in Animation including 2 layer's. For layer 1 I use that to create the pentagram along with the fire. Then with layer 2 I created the blood drops.

Creating this I used tools like paint brush tool, Brush Tool, the line tool and the paint bucket tool and colours.

This is the first image with both layer's. Gradually the pentagram takes form and a few more blood drops come dripping down. Also when the the pentagram is draw, fire starts to appear in where the points are and also turns black in the pentagram.

180 degree rule (broken)

In this lesson we leant about the 180 rule like if the camera was in front of two people, one on the left and one on the right they would need to be see like that thought the film as the camera changes angles. If you break the 180 rule then it's going to look like the characters are on the opposite side then they were before.

Todays lesson we had to get into groups and recorded a short film whilst breaking the 180 rule. In the film I did with Paige and Olivia we broke the rule when the shot of the close of the £5 note and then Olivia hand reaching in the grab. From that point it looks like she stand on her right when really she's on her left which mean the 180 rule has been broken.

The filming took place in the college car park. Editing the film I added the title and the ending; I also added 3 different type of music to this film. ! at the begin, another when she drops the note and the last one where she's holding the £5 note again.

Animate film

Using Animate I drawn a cat walking across the screen. It looks ok it just the legs doesn't look like the moving more just changing as it moves.

For the first layer I drawn a cats head. Then I would insert keyframe for that second then move the drawing along  so it would look like the cat was moving. I would then repeat the again until it got to the other end of the page.

For the next part I wrote the body. Because the tail bit was out of the scene I couldn't add it on till the whole body was on the page and then I could add the tail. For this bit I did the same as I did with layer one but move the body along with the head so that it looked liked it was moving. Re-watching the animation I notices that the body was further along then the head so I had to go back and move the body back so that it was lined with the head so that it was moving together.

For the last layer I added legs to the cat to make it look like it was moving. I drawn the twice showing the front/back right leg leaning forward and the front/back left leg leaning back and again with the opposite leg doing it. I thought it would look like the cat was moving but it just looked like the legs were changing not moving.
