Main element
1. 3D Element
2. Train Ticket
3. Photography
In my group, we used the train tickets and gave it a bit of a 3D effect. Tickets we also used are planes and buses. The reason why is because of train and buses and transport to college and planes because of the trips abroad.
My idea was to add some extra cardboard to help the letters lean forward making them look a bit 3D. My job was to draw and cut out the cardboard and cover the U in bus tickets and Liv's job was to print out the plane tickets and cover both the Y and O in the tickets.
Angel designed the IT which Involved cardboard cut out of the letters I and T repeated and stuck together then cover with train tickets. She also did the background using paints and splashing other colours on top of the yellow.
I think we did good in our team, we all had our own jobs to do we worked well together at getting the letter cut out and decorated.
3 things I think we did well is:
1. Choosing the cover. I think choosing transport tickets was a good choose
2. I think Angel background looks really good. It's bright and colourful
3. I think the words cut out looked good
3 things that could be better are:
1. I think the extra cardboard I used to have the letters stick out could have been a bit sturdier.
2. Maybe tried to use the train tickets less. It and Y all have train tickets and looks a bit too much
3. Maybe with the plane and bus tickets, we could have tried to get real ticket instead on printing them off. More with the bus then plane since it more of a chance we could have got bus then plane
Strengths - Coming up with a design. When we started we came up with quite a few idea on how we could design the IT and YOU.
Weaknesses- I think for me was cutting the letters out. They did look good but it was a bit of a challenge to get them cut and not go over the line.
Opportunities- Being able to work on our own thing, Angel working on the background and It and me and Liv working on YOU. Me doing the draw out and cutting out and Liv looking and printing and sticking the tickets onto the letters.
Threats - Was the letters not staying up on the board. When Trying to pin them up. The pins wouldn't go into the board and the letters unsticking from the cardboard structure that's meant to have the letters sticking out of the board.
